The classic Italian skin care daily needs:
- Before taking a shower, let the hot water run for one minute. The steam will help open the pores for greater moisture absorption. But then cool it down a bit, because high temperatures dry out the skin.
- Use a washcloth, or loofah, to gently exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. This way your skin will absorb moisture more easily. Then put a small amount of shower gel on your loofah or sponge and mix it with a little water to create the foam that will go all over your body with gentle movements. Alternatively, remove two capfuls of the shower gel into a tub of water, lather up, and enjoy the spa-like treatment. Finally rinse well with water.
